PHARMACIST:
IN DEMAND & HIGHEST PAID OVERSEAS
Most often, the Pharmacy profession in the Philippines is one of the most neglected in our country today.
A far cry from the profession that is one of the highest paid, most respected and includes best employment packages in the US, Canada and Australia.
In US alone, the shortage of Pharmacist is expected until the year 2020, needing at least 420,000 pharmacists. And the demand will worsen in the next 20 years. The need for pharmacist in counseling and monitoring patients both in the young and geriatric society has increased significantly through the years in the US, Canada and Australia.
With their work, skill and knowledge, these pharmacists are equally compensated with an average of 44$/hr .
No wonder that most Filipino pharmacist have decided to take career opportunities in other countries.
Pharmacists, in the first world, enjoy affluent lifestyles and continuous growth in their profession.
